About the Alliance for Health
“Alameda Alliance for Health continues to lead the way in developing culturally competent service models, language access, and affordable… health coverage.”
- Alice Lai-Bitker, Alameda County Board of Supervisors, District 3
The Alliance for Health is an Alameda health care insurance plan created by and for Alameda County residents. Our members’ optimal health and satisfaction is our first priority.
Alliance CompleteCare is a "Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan." It was created to serve people who have both Medicare and Medi-Cal insurance, blending them into a single plan. The Alliance also provides health care coverage to over 85,000 children and adults through Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Alliance Group Care programs.
We care about the health of our community and reflect its cultural and linguistic diversity. Alliance providers, employees, and our Board of Governors live in the cities that we serve.
In 2006, the Alliance celebrated 10 years of service to the community. Now, in our second decade, we look back at our accomplishments and our strong community ties with great pride. We remain deeply committed to our mission of serving Alameda County residents and look forward to many more years of service and exciting opportunities ahead.
Sincerely,
Ingrid Lamirault, CEO
